Oubliette - A roguelike puzzle dungeon crawler made for the 7DRL Challenge 2021. https://itch.io/jam/7drl-challenge-2021

You've been thrown into a magical oubliette with only a rusty sword to your name, and the only door out is locked. Explore the levels of the oubliette through the holes in the ground, grab treasure chests to upgrade your weapons or find the key, and avoid the slimes!

Controls: WASD for movement, space to attack when a slime is within range.

(This is my first published game, and I was only able to use 3 of the 7 days as well as learning Godot at the same time, so there's a bunch of polish I'd like to add that's missing, but it's a functional, winnable game so that's something. All art and sound is CC licensed, with some additions and edits from me, e.g. the slime eating the knight)

Don't take the key! It's a trap!

(I got stuck a couple of times with a key and slimes between the door and me)

DO take the key, but just make sure all the slimes are dead first (or not near you). They get real angry when you get that key.

I know you've stated it's an asset pack but the game is adorable. I think it's put together pretty nicely. Not very hard (although it's a bit rough once you get the key and a slime basically corners you), but not boring for the duration it's supposed to be played.

Thank you! I think if it was tweaked and more features were added, it could be the first level of a larger game.

Oh my god the graphics! Love it!

Thank you! I can't take much of the credit there as it's an asset pack but I did add some additional animations, e.g. the slime eating the knight, the knight falling down the pit, and the slime's death. The original asset set is here: https://0x72.itch.io/dungeontileset-ii

The knight falling down is my favourite of all the animations. Very cute and very “cartoon vibe”.

Thank you! Just a couple milliseconds of "coyote time"
